Rose Start

My parents moved to Bourne End when I was 4 years old, living in Chapman Lane for the past 35 years. I spent many years travelling through work in the film and business travel industry, but at the end of each project I returned to them as I love the area. After my father died in 2021, and my mother in 2023, our property in Chapman Lane was sold and I am now in another part of Bourne End.
I manage my late husband's forklift hire business based in Kent, and am secretary of the South Bucks & Thames Branch of the RNLI. I also volunteer at events held at Bourne End Community Centre.
I consider the community spirit of our local area truly exceptional and know how lucky we are to still have a few unspoilt beautiful villages such as Little Marlow. Becoming a Parish Councillor is a great opportunity to get more involved with protecting these areas and I look forward to doing the best I can to help our councillors with their achievements.
