Katie Cook

Little Marlow Parish Council Katie Cook

I have spent most of my life in the local area, growing up in Wooburn Common and Well End and moving back to Marlow to work in the family firm 25 years ago.  I am married with 3 children who have all attended local schools.

Community affairs and being an active participant in my local area has always been important to me. I’ve been on the committee of Flackwell Heath Tennis Club, a member of the PTA at my children’s schools and more recently was a volunteer at Seed 1 zero waste store in Marlow. I am a member of the Marlow Society and have lobbied them and the council to try and stop parking on grass verges in the town.

I am passionate about health and wellbeing and am a huge advocate of time spent in nature as an antidote to the stress of modern living. I love rambling and off-road cycling and want to make sure the beauty of the local area remains free to access for everyone.
