New Little Marlow to Marlow bus timetable from September 2025
Little Marlow Parish Council
Bucks Council have announced that there will be changes to the bus service that stops at Westhorpe Park, Church Road and Winchbottom Road from September. Attached is the new timetable.
“As a result of the change of operator and contract there will be some changes to the service from September with the loss of the Wednesday Maidenhead journey, and unfortunately an increase in price to the Council. We are continuing to look at options to reinstate the Maidenhead journey, but this won’t be in place at the end of August as there is insufficient time to make these arrangements and for operators to comply with the Traffic Commissioner requirements for registration of new services. There is a rail link between the towns that does offer an alternative for passengers wishing to travel to Maidenhead.
More positively, there will also be some service improvements associated with the change. These include simplifying the services so they will run the same way on Monday to Friday, instead of having different service numbers depending on the day of the week. As requested by the Town and Parish Councils, a new Service 160 journey will run at 5.20pm This is aimed at commuters and after school clubs and will operate to Little Marlow, Westhorpe Caravan Park and Marlow Bottom. A new school journey will also be introduced from Frieth and Lane End to cater for Great Marlow School pupils.
